VCA Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle is seeking an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join the rapidly growing Internal Medicine department at our AAHA-accredited, 24-hour emergency/specialty practice in Lynnwood, Washington.

This is an outstanding opportunity to fully utilize all of your knowledge and technical skills, as well as gain the valuable experience found in a multi-specialty hospital.

No previous Internal Medicine experience is necessary. We will provide extensive training in the skills necessary to fulfill the specific requirements of becoming a valued member of the Internal Medicine team.

We pride ourselves on providing cutting-edge, progressive and compassionate medical care and client service. Our Internal Medicine department is fast-paced with Technicians responsible for intake/discharge of patients, nursing care of patients, blood work, imaging (including digital radiology and Fluoroscopy) and anesthetic induction/monitoring multiple types of procedures. A full job description can be discussed at the time of interview.

To apply you must have a current WA state license, or be immediately license-eligible, as well as have a minimum of 1 yr recent experience working in a veterinary hospital setting. The right candidate will possess strong anesthetic skills, excellent communication and client service skills, a positive attitude, and an ongoing desire to learn and excel in a specialty hospital environment. Our Internists work 6 days-a-week, so we require a Technician who can work 4 - 10+ hours a day, including Saturdays.
