EMR Medical Scribe
Location: Walla Walla, Washington
Description: Providence Health & Services is at the momment seeking for EMR Medical Scribe right now, this position will be settled in Washington. Accompany the physician into the exam room and accurately document confidential patient examination findings, that are verbalized during the physician’s examin! ation.
Enter data according to standards, as well as in a timely manner.
Must maintain confidentiality at all times and must know and understand HIPAA rules.
Other responsibilities include stocking exam rooms with supplies, cleaning rooms between patients, and assisting with the patient rooming process.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Typing 50 wpm with 95% accuracy.
Basic understanding of medical terminology and anatomy and physiology.
Must be able to learn and demonstrate necessary computer and word processing skills.
Good communication, to include listening and grammar skills.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Experience in a medical setting, working with confidential patient information.
Bilingual preferred.
