Patient Services Representative II - Neuroscience Float

Location: Walla Walla Washington

Description: Providence Health & Services is presently looking of Patient Services Representative II - Neuroscience Float right now, this job will be placed in Washington. Providence is calling a fulltime Float Patient Services Representative II to the Neuroscience Clinics of Providence Medical Group in Walla Walla, WA.

We are seeking a customer-oriented individual to provide effective and efficient front office services to patients. In this position you will:

• Work Monday - Thursday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am-1pm
• Train new employees as well as provide ongoing training as needed.
• Coordinate all departmental communications, greet patients, answer telephones, relay messages and transfer calls to appropriate staff.
• Enter and gather data for billing, collect statistics, maintain and organize departmental files and patient records.
• May be required to float to other department/physician office sites as needed.

Required qualifications for this position include:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Customer service experience

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

• Previous medical secretarial experience
• Basic understanding of medical terminology
