A busy two parent working household - mom is a nurse, and dad is an engineer, are looking for a long-term career nanny who wants to grow with the family. They require care three days a week, with each day consisting of 10 hours. The schedule will be predetermined, but one of the days must be either a Monday or Friday to accommodate their work commitments. The nanny must be comfortable with dogs as they have one medium sized dog in the home. You must also be sensitive to bringing chemicals/toxins in their home. Please refrain from perfume.
Responsibilities:
Primary Care: Your main responsibility will be the care and well-being of our newborn daughter. This includes:
Feeding: Preparing and providing breast milk to the baby through a bottle.
Diapering: Regularly changing diapers to keep the baby clean and comfortable.
Clothing Changes: Ensuring the baby is appropriately dressed for comfort and weather conditions.
Interacting: Engaging with the baby during awake times through activities such as tummy-time, reading, singing, talking, and age-appropriate play.
Cleaning Duties: As part of the role, you will be responsible for baby-related cleaning tasks, which include:
Washing Bottles: Cleaning and sanitizing bottles and other feeding equipment.
Baby Laundry: Laundering the baby's clothes and bedding.
Play Area Maintenance: Keeping the baby's play area clean and tidy.
Requirements:
Newborn/Infant Experience: Demonstrable experience in caring for newborns and infants is essential to understand their unique needs and provide appropriate care.
Tdap Vaccination: Proof of current Tdap vaccination is required to ensure the safety and health of the baby.
Reliable and Trustworthy: We seek a caregiver who is dependable, punctual, and trustworthy, as we will be entrusting the care of our precious child to them.
Availability and Flexibility: The ability to commit to three consistent days per week and the flexibility to work on a Monday or Friday is necessary to align with their work schedules.
Good Interpersonal Skills: A caring, patient, and nurturing demeanor, along with excellent communication skills, is important to interact with our child and keep us informed about her well-being and development.
Compensation:
The caregiver will be compensated at a rate of $30 per hour. All payments will be made through legal payroll processes. You will receive PTO and 3 days sick pay.
