Providence is calling a Medical Assistant (MA) (Express Care, Variable, 0.6) to Providence Medical Group in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Work closely with physicians and mid-level providers (i.e. nurse practitioners, etc.) to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.
Apply your knowledge, skills, and experience in patient interactions that take place both in person and over the telephone.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited and certified Medical Assistant program
Current licensure in the State of Washington for Medical Assistant Certification
Completion of certification exam through the AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT certification within one year of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Previous experience in a physician office setting
