Providence is calling a Medical Assistant (MA) (Neurosurgery, Day Shift, Full Time, 1.0) to Providence Medical Group in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Greet and escort patients to the exam room.
Maintain efficient patient flow throughout the day.
Take vital signs and prepare charts.
Communicate with medical team as necessary.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED) equivalent
Medical assisting or certified nursing assistant training
Current Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Work experience in a medical setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Current Washington State Certified Medical Assistant certification
