Providence is calling a Patient Services Representative (Neuroscience, Days, On-Call) to Providence Medical Group in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
Communicates effectively to patients, physicians and staff in a professional manner.
Provides clear, concise, pertinent reports/information.
Relays information related to patient care and conditions to appropriate staff in a timely manner...
Maintains and organizes all patient and departmental information, patient care information in an orderly manner.
Answers telephone identifying self and department in a clear and concise manner.
Greets patients and families upon arrival.
Copies, mails, and faxes as requested.
Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
Two years’ experience in the healthcare setting preferred, or Associate, BA/BS Degree in the medical field. Healthcare related computer experience preferred.
