Providence is calling a Medical Assistant (MA) (Family Practice, Days, 1.0) to Providence Medical Group in Walla Walla, Washington. We are a co mmunity of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all - especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
- Work closely with physicians and mid-level providers (i.e. nurse practitioners, etc.) to help ensure the delivery of high quality patient care.
- Apply your knowledge, skills, and experience in patient interactions that take place both in person and over the telephone.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
- Graduate of an accredited and certified Medical Assistant program
- Current licensure in the State of Washington for Medical Assistant Certification
- Completion of certification exam through the AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT certification within one year of hire
- Current Basic LifeSupport (BLS) certificate through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
- Previous experience in a physician office setting
