About the role
The Strategy & Planning team in EMEA is responsible for crafting long-term business strategy, incubating innovation, owning business intelligence & reporting as well as understanding the competitive landscape across 14 countries in the region.
We are looking for a S&P Associate to join the EMEA team to help lead projects across the Uber Eats business, elevate the efficiency of the EMEA Leadership Team and the wider org, and deliver insights founded on data to drive business change.
We're looking for someone who has that mix of abilities to get stuff done, collaborate and build alignment, as well as the strategic and creative thinking vital to drive effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- Strategy Development: Assisting in the development and execution of strategic initiatives and projects to drive growth and improve operational efficiency within the EMEA region.
- Market Analysis: Conducting market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities for expansion.
- Business Planning: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop business plans, set goals, and define key performance indicators (KPIs) for various EMEA markets.
- Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing performance metrics to measure the success of strategies and initiatives, identifying areas for improvement, and providing recommendations.
- Financial Modeling: Creating financial models and conducting analysis to support decision-making and evaluate the financial impact of different strategies.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to align strategies, share insights, and ensure effective execution.
- Presentation and Reporting: Preparing presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate insights, progress, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
What You'll Need
- At least 2-3 years of shown experience in a Tech Company, Operational Management, Consulting and/or Banking
- Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly identify the key drivers of performance
- Experience in running detailed quantitative analysis, interpreting data, and communicating results in structured deliverables
- Experience in communicating analysis and recommendations, structuring narratives to convey sophisticated ideas efficiently, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences
- Steadfast focus on the details, while keeping strategic priorities top-of-mind
- Positive and collaborative "can-do" approach. A resourceful and innovative approach
